Relationship Info
Crush: Kauli
First Kiss:
Other kisses: Usafi
Type: Kweli's the 'protect until death' type of lover. He can be shy, and a little unsure at first but often becomes flirtatious and teasing as the relationship progresses. If the relationship goes past the crush stage he is loyal and devoted, often being a little on the jealous side and will pine when he goes without his partners' affection or attention for a long time. When he was younger he fell easily, but now that he's been through two and lost two potential mates he is more on the cautious side of things.
Lover preference: A mate who is strong and kind at heart, loyal and willing to have fun.

Family
Mother: Zalika ('well born') the daughter of the Crowded Water chief before Ari
Father: Mwana Waasi ('rebel son') a member of Sunning Rocks who was killed for taking a mate outside his tribe
Siblings: Gheche (female: 'small'), Subira (female: 'patience'), Idili (male: 'well behaved'), "Toka" (Zawadi Kutoka Mbinguni (female: 'gift; gift from heaven')

Personality
:bulletgreen:Positive {Amiable} {Calm} {Courageous} {Dutiful} {Friendly} {Loyal} {Reliable}
:bulletwhite:Neutral {Determined} {Noncompetitive} {Patrenalistic} {Reserved} {Tough}
:bulletred:Negative {Cautious} {Dependent} {Hesitant} {Jealous} {Moody} {Suspicious}

:bulletgreen: Amiable Kweli's an easy going cat, and prefers to get along with everyone and keep his tribemates happy than to cause conflict or unnecessary competition. Even if you aren't that nice to him he will remain relatively amiable towards you, it takes a lot for him to dislike someone.

:bulletgreen: Calm Slow to rise to ire, he sees no point in rising to challenges unless they are personal or risk the lives of someone he cares for. In dangerous situations he tries to maintain a calm air, panic only makes things all the worse.

:bulletgreen: Courageous Not one to leave anyone defenseless he often throws himself into the thick of things to help protect others, especially those he cares about. Whether that includes fighting off hyenas, escaping blazing fires, almost drowning or taking on the girl he likes when she's doing something reckless and he has to stop her.

:bulletgreen: Dutiful A tribe cat above all else he is a strong believer in a sense of duty and purpose. Making sure to inspect the camp and do a patrol at least once a day, sometimes alone and other times with company. No cheetah can survive without duty to their tribe above all else.

:bulletgreen: Friendly Making sure to appear approachable to all Kweli always endeavours to be friendly. To his own tribe mates, to those of other tribes (as long as they aren't doing something not allowed), even to harmless animals he passes when out on his walk.

:bulletgreen: Loyal To a fault. He would do anything for those he loves, and his tribe always comes first, betrayal is not something he takes lightly nor does he forgive easily once his loyalty is lost.

:bulletgreen: Reliable Able to remain calm more often than not he's a tom you can go to if you have troubles, or need help with something. Though he may not be very good at it, he will try his best.

:bulletwhite: Determined Often misunderstood as being single minded, once Kweli sets his sights upon something he doesn't forget it, or back down easily. Doing everything in his powers to achieve his goal, Kweli will stick to something until it is completed.

:bulletwhite: Noncompetitive Though he'll stand up for himself, and accept a challenge when presented he's not one for competition. Being the fastest runner, or best swimmer are things one shouldn't boast about in his opinion and should be used to help others. A little competition is natural and he accepts that, but finds those who have to be the best at everything and parade it around distasteful and immature.

:bulletwhite: Paternalistic Never having thought much about having cubs of his own, he is, however, very adept at looking after them. They are a pride and joy of the tribe, and he finds their games and incessant wonder at the world around them refreshing and adorable.

:bulletwhite: Reserved Often hides his true feelings or opinions of people until he has come to a complete conclusion. Though courageous he sees no point to jumping headfirst into a situation without some caution, and he often fears he leaves his opinion forming too late to know the truth.

:bulletwhite: Tough With the background he's had, it's easy to see how determined and tough he is. Surviving many hardships and losses has developed his ability to push through it and move on, though it still affects him deeply being a cub about it will get you nowhere.

:bulletred: Cautious Forever making sure to triple check things before embarking upon them he has been called 'overly cautious' on a few occasions. As a leader he needs to work on this, and to trust others' more but having lived through many experiences he tends to err on the side of safety rather than jumping in without question.

:bulletred: Dependent Skinny, and a little emotionally closed off from others he relies too much on those close to him to look after him, is dependant on the tribe for food and comfort when he should be able to provide it himself. He has been known to go days without eating simply because he forgets too.

:bulletred: Hesitant Until the point of no return has been crossed he's the type of tom to hesitate before making that final decision, that fatal move. Trusting someone wholeheartedly, making the first attack during a battle, stepping outside the boundaries of his tribe and his place in life are all things he will hesitate before doing so. Always thinking of the ramifications, of the consequences to such actions. However, once the battle has started there is to be no holding back.

:bulletred: Jealous Having lost his family at such a young age Kweli guards those that he allows close to him jealously, and dislikes others being as close to them as he is. Haki, his best friend, has found a mate in another tribe and though his feelings for her are plationic rather than romantic he does indeed get jealous when she is gone so often instead of spending time with him.

:bulletred: Moody Melancholic and retrospective at times, he has a tendency to get into a funk at certain times without any real reason. Though he prefers to spend time alone when this happens, he can be pulled out of it with enough effort and persistence.

:bulletred: Suspicious New things, new places, and humans. All things wrought with danger, and experiences have lead him to be far more suspicious of things than he was in his youth. Trickery, deception and lies even among the coalitions and tribes make him re-think things and shift his opinion on who or what to trust.

Brief History
Cub: Born into a family of five, with three female siblings and one male sibling, Kweli was always the adventurous one, pranking his siblings and playing games of hide and pounce. His favourite was tag, it was good practise for hunting but he just liked tripping over his siblings.  At a few moons old two of his female siblings developed a sickness that his mother couldn't heal, leaving him with his sister Toka, and his brother Idili. Out of the three of them Toka was more fun, Idili always wanting to stay by their mother and sleep, so he began practisicng his techniques with his sister instead. One day their mother went out hunting, and Kweli decided it was aobut time they went ona small adventure all of their own. Managing to convince Idili to go along as well (he didn't really want to be left behind all alone) things were going well until they ventured too far from their nest and were attacked by a pair of hyenas. Getting split up by accident he and Toka hid in a small hole in the ground, when they finally re-emerged it was clear Idili had been killed, and the last two siblings made their way back to the nest full of regret and sadness. The attack on their brother changed Toka and himself, and he became morose and drawn into himself,  but the more he did so, the more she went out of her way to do silly little things to try to make him smile. The day they split up they'd had a fight, and he'd stormed off all on his own only to get lost and alone. Finally he had curled up near a rock and cried until he was found by a lone tom who took him in and cared for him till he grew up.

Tyro: Growing up with the tom known as Kivuli, Kweli eventually forgot about his small family and all that had happened to him, instead learning to grow and love this group of cats he came to know as family. When it came time to decide what position he wanted to become in the tribe the decision came down to a Hunter or a Sentry, he wasn't the fastest runner and the life of a messenger had never appealed to him. Making his decision to become a sentry he was asked why to which he responded seriously, "I couldn't protect my family when I was little, so I will protect the family I have now with my life." A fast learner, Kweli was pleased with his progress and enjoyed passing his Quest to finally become (in his mind) a full fledged member of the team.

Young Adult: As a young adult Kweli had a lot of growing up still left to do, and a lot of new experiences left to be conquered. His first crush, his first kiss (ambushed of course),  hyena's and their attack, and of course re-bonding with the elder who had helped raise him. Though they had parted ways somewhat while he was a tryo, it felt comforting to spend time with his foster father and borrow on the wisdom he had amassed during his years. He even survived his first battle between his tribe and the attacking Crooked Tree. When the tribe cats came down with a sickness epidemic he managed to pull through with that as well, but had to deal with yet the loss of more members of his extended family.

Adult: Adult life brought many changes to the tom, including a shift in his attitude from a playful young one to more serious, with a real sense of duty. Though he still enjoyed making a mess with those close enough to him, a lot had changed and he was no longer the playful cub of the past. With the change in tensions among the tribes and outside forces, came a new set of responsibilities, and a new crush. Another battle between Crowded Water and Crooked Tree tribes had Kweli questioning his loyalties, and if he would really lay everything on the line for the tribe and family he knew in light of the choice of the one he had feelings for. Surviving a lion attack and a confession of the heart before earning new wounds and scars during the great wave. Overcoming his wish for space when he was wounded during the travel through the deep tunnels, losing his foster father almost enough to break him. With new lands to investigate, new cheetahs to meet and new dangers to face his strength began to return, as did the one he thought he'd lost. Many more battles, new friends and new enemies, and some new wounds after facing what the cheetahs had come to find was their biggest threat yet.

Tribe of Crowded Water:
(:bulletblue::bulletblue:/:bulletgreen:/:bulletpurple:/:bulletorange:) Kivuli He's my foster father, he took me in when I was too young to look after myself and got lost, he is a bit of a grump but I can't help but love him anyway. When he died, or so we'd all thought, I couldn't forgive myself for not being there, for not helping him, for not getting a chance to say my goodbyes. He's back now, at first I was overjoyed, then I was hurt, now I'm just thankful I get a second chance to see one of the last remaining members of my family alive and well I just hope he's around long enough for me to find a mate.

(:bulletwhite:/:bulletwhite::bulletwhite:/:bulletblue:) Usafi She's a pretty she-cat, but I've only really interacted with her once and she just up and kissed me, it was a little strange and I don't really know how to react to it now so I sort of just say hi in passing.

(:bulletwhite:/:bulletwhite::bulletwhite:/:bulletblue:/:bulletpurple:) Strelka Raised by 'Vuli as well he's a bit like a brother, though we haven't been close since we were younger. When he was made Token I thought it was a great choice, he has lead our tribe through many hardships and experiences that would have made weaker cats go crazy. I don't think anyone could be a wiser chief, and being chosen as his new second in command is a great honour.

(:bulletwhite:/:bulletwhite::bulletwhite:/:bulletblue:/:bulletblue::bulletblue:/:bulletgreen:/:bulletgreen::bulletgreen:/:bulletpurple:) Haki She's a great friend of mine. We started out on rocky ground when I interrupted her hunt, but since then we've gotten to know each other a lot more and I really enjoy her company when I can't sleep or when I need someone to talk to. I wish her the best in life and would protect her with my own life. I don't know if I trust her choice in mate yet, but as long as she's safe and happy I am okay with it.

(:bulletwhite:/:bulletwhite::bulletwhite:/:bulletblue:/:bulletblue::bulletblue:/:bulletpurple:) Makini Well there's a lot I could say about Makini, some of it nice, some of it not so nice, but in the end she's become someone I greatly respect as a fighter, and someone I have come to consider a friend. She's a little spikey, sort of like a porcupine, but if you get past all that she's got a genuine heart and means the best. Most of the time. I'm just thankful she's on our side.

(:bulletwhite:/:bulletwhite::bulletwhite:/:bulletblue:)Makosa Njia He's got a way to go but he's determined, thinks things through well and is very attentive in his training. He is a good tyro and I hope I can give him the mentoring he needs to become a decent sentry.

(:bulletwhite:/:bulletwhite::bulletwhite:/:bulletblue:/:bulletblue::bulletblue:/:bulletyellow:/:bulletyellow::bulletyellow:) Durah I sort of developed feelings for her, not long after meeting her, we just hit it off well and clicked. I even organized a present for her, but she was gone before I could give it to her. Sometimes I miss her still.

(:bulletwhite:/:bulletwhite::bulletwhite:/:bulletblue:) Jua I don't like her, but I don't dislike her either. I would have liked to try to get to know her, but keeping my fur intact seemed to be the safer option. A little like Makini but spikier.

(:bulletwhite:/:bulletwhite::bulletwhite:/:bulletblue:) Hewa A tom who some how gained Jua's affections, I think they were siblings. He was nice enough, even let me have one of his feathers once which I thought was pretty cool.

(:bulletwhite:) Swala A young tyro I didn't have much to do with, I think I stepped on her once in the den and apologised.

(:bulletwhite:) Kalorii I only spoke to her a couple of times when trying to organise a gift for Durah, but she's gone now and so is Durah.

Tribe of Sunning Rocks:
(:bulletwhite:/:bulletwhite::bulletwhite:/:bulletblue:) Kokoto I was stupid enough to stand on a porcupine while patrolling near the border and she was kind enough to heal me. I was thankful, and think she's a very good healer.

(:bulletwhite:/:bulletwhite::bulletwhite:/:bulletblack:/:bulletblue:) Sumu Joka I haven't made up my mind about him yet. He's seeing Haki, and while she seems happy and he does seem nice I'd like to make sure of that. He has crazy hair though, it makes me wonder how he doesn't get it tangled all the time.

(:bulletwhite:/:bulletwhite::bulletwhite:/:bulletblack:/:bulletblue:)Kujenga I don't know. I met her, and she was hunting on Crowded Water lands which I don't agree with, but when there's little prey I suppose I can understand. Still, I think it would be best if she stuck to her own lands.

Tribe of Crooked Tree:
(:bulletblack:/:bulletwhite:/:bulletwhite::bulletwhite:/:bulletblue:/:bulletblue::bulletblue:/:bulletyellow:/:bulletyellow::bulletyellow:/:bulletpink:) Kauli It was, well, an unusual start to our relationship. She was acting suspicious at a moon meeting, then we got to talking and it turned out she wasn't as bad as I'd originally thought. We spent time together here and there, but the most important was the day I saved her from attacking the lion that killed the rest of her family, after that I realised I'd developed feelings for her and told her, to which she responded in same. We managed to stay together during the tunnel crossing, but were split apart with the new lands and all the events going on with the tribes and coalitions.

(:bulletwhite:/:bulletwhite::bulletwhite:/:bulletblue:) Kovu I would have liked to get to know him more, he was... intriguing.

Zamani Dhambi Coalition:

Nguvu Coalition:

Hukumu Coalition:
(:bulletblack:/:bulletwhite:/:bulletwhite::bulletwhite:/:bulletorange:) Zawadi My sister... she's alive. I don't.. I'm so happy but I don't know how to deal with this..

Roleplay Example
The-Hidden-Key

Rp with SSUMA's Jua and my Kweli

ShindosGirl:
Kweli got the feeling that the food was the only thing between his standing here and her chasing him out of her den with fury. He still wasn't sure what to make of this she-cat but he respected her abilities to scrap. He'd never been on the receiving end of any of her swipes but he'd seen many who had, including the tyros. In fact, now that he'd thought of it, he had the feeling they bore the brunt of it.

He slunk into her den and dropped the food closer to her. He wasn't that hungry, he'd eaten a little earlier so he just left it where she could reach it. Sitting down he made sure he wasn't sitting on anything of value, doing a couple of circles to ensure that was the case first. And get comfortable.

Kweli had never been in another cheetah's den before, he tended to sleep out in the open unless it was raining or cold. He didn't like the feeling of being totally enclosed within something. Glancing around he kept one ear swiveled in her direction just in case. The den was dark but not so dark that he couldn't see. He thought he spotted a crack in the rock and was paying so much attention to it he hadn't noticed the boom in the background. He was just setting in to give himself a more thorough clean when a louder boom echoed over head causing him to jump and his fur to stand on end. Glancing at Jua he could've sworn she was laughing at him. "Just wasn't expecting it," he muttered loud enough for her to here.
